Consumers have a more favourable opinion of an organization if a promotional product is environmentally friendly – according to Advertising Specialty Institute's 2020 Global Ad Impressions study.

Among the results of the study:

  • 53 per cent of women and 40 per cent of men reported a more favorable opinion of the advertiser if the promo product they received was environmentally friendly.
  • 45 per cent of 18-34 year-olds, 40 per cent of 35-54 year-olds, and 53 per cent of people aged 55 and above have a more favorable opinion of the advertiser if the promo product they received was environmentally friendly.
  • 49 per cent of Canadians have a more favourable opinion of an advertiser if the product they receive is environmentally friendly.
